The 80s man. You could make a movie about anything.
The 80s man. You could make a movie about anything.

Another in the long line of 80s sexploitation movies that would have been on USA Up All Nite. I honestly can't get enough of them.

Three dorky friends, Calvin, Jimmie, and Keith, are sitting in their room doing the things they love. Jimmie is drinking beer and eating snacks. Keith is looking through the latest issue of Penthouse, ogling all the girls, and Calvin is watching a horror movie on TV. It's safe to say that these guys are not exactly the partying, womanizing type. Keith has heard about a sorority doing their initiation later that evening that he wants to go to. Apparently, the Tri-Delta sorority (the "Felta-Deltas") is known for having some wild initiations, usually involving nudity, spanking, and all-out degrading of their pledges, mostly in a sexual way. The three make a plan to go out later to watch all their fantasies play out in front of their eyes.

Lisa and Taffy really want to join a sorority. They will do most anything to be accepted by the Tri-Deltas. Though Taffy is a bit more apprehensive than Lisa, she goes along with her friend anyway. That evening, they are going through the initiation process. They think it will be a quick, albeit humiliating experience, but one they can handle.

Three boys can't get enough of watching two sorority pledges get their almost naked butts paddled. They decide to get a closer view and sneak into the house. Everything is going well until they get caught watching the girls shower. Now Calvin, Jimmie, and Keith must join Taffy and Lisa on a final task in the initiation. They are all told that they have to 1) break into the bowling alley and 2) steal something as proof they were there before bringing it back to the sorority house. What the group doesn't know is that one of the sorority girls' dads owns the mall where the bowling alley is. She is going to watch them on the security cameras and make their night a living hell. What NONE of them know is that their entire world will fall apart thanks to an Imp that is trapped inside the trophy they attempt to steal.

It always amazes me just how much effort directors would go through to get a group of girls to strip down in a film. Truly. I was a small child in the 80s, so there would have been no way for me to actually go to see any of these films in any kind of theater, but man... what a time to be alive. Sure, they are all just terrible excuses to literally get some T&A on screen. Sure, they are all about "teens" going out and trying to get laid, and merely watching something like that is kinda skeevy. "It was a different time."

I don't think I really need to go over the acting, writing, or even the special effects for this one. At this point, if someone sees a movie that has Lennea Quigley, Michelle Baur, or Dukey Flyswatter in the cast and DOESN'T know what they are getting into, that's on them. On the scale of best to worst T&A movies from the 80s, this one is somewhere around the middle. There's nothing terrible about it, and also nothing outstanding.

Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama is the epitome of bad movies that would be shown in the background of another, much better, movie. Should it ever pop up on a late-night horror movie marathon, I will certainly watch it. I just don't think I will go out of my way to seek it out. However, having said that, I watched it, unedited, on YouTube. Granted, it was through a VPN to the Netherlands, but still.
